Pseudo-scientific phenomena. Should we re-think the scientific method? Invalidating the concept of validity

The purpose of this paper is to understand how the so-called border sciences use the scientific method to obtain results that confirm their underlying theoretical apparatus.

The academic sciences use a standardized method, the border sciences use the same method, but revised according to specific needs, eliminating and/or distorting, even naively, key elements of the research. It is also shown if, for some of such disciplines, the scientific method should be revised in some way.
