A little more clarity on GMOs

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) represent a thorny matter due to the social, ethical and politic implications that they raise. Furthermore, the media depiction of the subject is generally prejudicial and generates confusion, diffusing inconsistent, inaccurate or even erroneous scientific information on what GMOs are, how they are generated, their use and the potential implications for human health.
