AIRInforma and the pledge to “clear and comprehensible” science communication

“Something nice about science: it brings together different generations, because the rules do not follow trends of the moments and do not change from one generation to the next. Science is a path towards knowledge along which we all can meet, provided of course that the story is told in a clear and comprehensible way” (from Viaggio nella Scienza, vol. 1: L’Universo, Rai Trade, 2009). These words, borrowed from the excellent Italian science popularizer and journalist Piero Angela, very well summarize the commitment of AIRInforma to “clear and comprehensible” communication of science to the public at large.
